About Strategic HR Australia

A specialist HR consultancy for growing organisations

Strategic HR was founded to bring clarity and structure to complex people decisions

With more than 27 years’ experience across Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Strategic HR Australia partners with growing organisations to balance compliance, culture, and confident leadership.

Who is Strategic HR Australia

Strategic HR Australia is a specialist HR consultancy supporting growing organisations across Australia. Founded in 2024 by Elisia Coetzee, the company draws on more than 27 years of experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations across both in-house and consulting environments.

Elisia’s career spans senior HR roles within organisations, followed by more than a decade working as an external HR consultant. Since 2013, she has advised businesses across a range of industries, providing practical guidance on compliance, employee relations, workforce planning, and complex people matters.

Strategic HR Australia was established to continue this work as an independent practice, offering experienced, specialist HR support to organisations that require clarity and confidence in their people decisions, without building a full internal HR function.

Clarity. Confidence. Care.

How We Work

Strategic HR Australia works alongside leaders as a practical, independent HR partner. We integrate into organisations where people decisions carry real responsibility — providing clarity, structure, and experienced guidance when it matters most.

Our approach is grounded in understanding context before recommending action. We take the time to assess how an organisation operates, where complexity is increasing, and what pressures leaders are navigating. From there, we provide clear guidance that is proportionate, defensible, and aligned to the organisation’s stage of growth.

We focus on helping leaders make confident people decisions early — before issues escalate or become reactive. That means addressing risk through clarity and structure, not bureaucracy, and supporting leaders with advice that works in real workplaces, not just on paper.

Strategic HR Australia operates as a steady presence, particularly in complex or sensitive matters. Whether providing ongoing advisory support or stepping in when impartiality and experience are required, our role is to bring calm, consistency, and practical direction to every engagement.
